Scholar's pet "Embrace" not scaling with MIND post hotfix?

I noticed that after the hotfix patch that Scholar's pet's healing spell "Embrace" was healing for about 300 less than before. Also noticed that after getting higher level gear and leveling up that Embrace seemed to be unaffected by my increase of MIND and Magic Damage. This issue may have been present before the hotfix but I can't say if it was or not. But basically my character's healing is getting stronger but my pet's Embrace is healing as if I was wearing lower level gear and never upgrading.

I haven't test Whispering Dawn, but I would assume it is affected as well.

It looks like some other posters had the theory right; the issue more or less resolves itself when you reach 60 and begin to gear up again. At i150+ at lvl 60 she is finally in the ballpark of where she USED to be at i130 at lvl 50.

Still, it makes little sense that your fairy becomes weaker through those intermediate levels.
