    Hopefully not too long. They've always been quick to update Libra Eorzea, but this is a major expansion launch and not just a patch, so it might take a little bit longer.

    I tried to log into the app and the login screen is down saying pending a new app (assuming new version - use LE for my security key so would rather avoid a new app entirely). I would imagine we should see an update shortly,although I guess they might want people to hunt for gear for a while first.

    There will be no updates to Libra Eorzea. The app is to be replaced by a completely new app with new functionality. This was mentioned in the News section of the Lodestone home page:http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...58d3808b7aaa01

    Ah, I'd missed that.

    How will this affect the security key if the key used is within the Libra Eorzea app? Will I need to remove my security token and register a new one with the new app?

    I have no idea but I do suggest that you ensure you have all your security data, like the emergency password (or whatever it is) stored somewhere in case the current system changes without notice.
