Losing your pet's embrace and [whispering dawn if you use Eos] is more healing for 0 MP that you'd lose out on using this skill.450 potency damage boost (more with bane) and helps you ration MP in case you are recovering after a double or triple resurrection (using lustrate instead of adlo saves you 1k MP, using indom instead of succor saves you 1.3k MP.) It's also amore noticeable buff towards aoe healing with succor.
Agreed =)Works great for fights like sephy that have add phases followed by a long animation to resummon.
Again, like the spell itself, it's situational. One Indomitability alone will outshine 30 seconds worth of Embrace potency wise. You lose Whispering Dawn but I feel like if you're in a position where you can let everyone tick with a regen you're probably not going to pop Dissipation anyway.
It's not the best CD, but it's also not too difficult to find uses for it. I think people get discouraged too quickly and just dismiss something that is actually a great but situational ability.
I basically only ever touch it in pvp when I'm in a clutch situation.
It's the only thing that comes remotely close to self-survivability that the other healers have when being attacked by multiple combatants.

Full Definition of dissipation
1
: the action or process of dissipating : the state of being dissipated:
a : dispersion, diffusion
b archaic : dissolution, disintegration
c : wasteful expenditure
d : intemperate living; especially : excessive drinking
2
: an act of self-indulgence; especially : one that is not harmful : amusement
Its name implies exactly what it is, a useless wasteful skill for amusement.
Dissipation:
A useless waste of a skill, you would have to be a tool to click this or use it in one of the very few fights of the game.
Mana Cost: Swiftcast+1768 Mana.
Lowers Healing by 250 potency over time.

To the people that hate it: Don't use it.
It is our version of PoM. It really helps push the deeps or is rescue this party fodder. You may not think its useful but it fits some SCH's instant reflexive playstyle or can be used strategically if the fight is known well enough.
It could be better, but its not a bad skill.
It doesn't really fit the lore. It doesn't fit the quest you get it on, its kind of stupid. Its own name implies its a waste of time and breathe. To the people that hate it: Don't use it.

I would rather sacrifice part of own life to buff my faerie. That would be a much cooler skill.
If a skill has a use rate of less then 0.2% compared to other skills, a good developer would look at it and say: Huh? Maybe we should change it to something more interesting.

Either way - I feel like Dissipation is too situational (especially for a level 60 spell) but I cannot deny that it's ridiculously powerful if you really need it. Even though by the time you have to use this skill, things are already looking extremely grim. I think the only thing that really chains this spell to the bench is the hidden cost that comes in form of blowing swiftcast to resummon AND the summoning MP cost. If the spell would return the fairy by the end of it's duration, I would be using it more often than I'd do now (which isn't hard to attain..)
No I mean PoM as in our only chance at a DPS buff.you mean Divine Seal - PoM is a haste buff.
