Don't play this game on PSN, you will never get to play

I've contacted support multiple times now. I did what they said and bought this game two extra times. Now I chatted again and basically i need to buy it a third extra time? This is ridiculous. Sony also takes no responsibility and says that I need to get a refund from SE, who says that I need to get it from Sony. Wtf?

only problem ive had playin on ps4 is psn crashing sometimes for days lol other then that its fine no problems at all o.O why did you have to buy it more then once?

Have been playing since EA with only one or two minor hiccups. I find it odd that you would buy the game multiple times, and more odd that it was suggested to do that by tech support.

If he is playing on PC and PS3 or PS4 he will need a copy of Heavensward (I assume that's what he's talking about) on PC and a copy for PS4-- a total of 2 purchases. This, as SE has said, is due to licensing issues. Welcome to the future where everyone wants their slice of the pie.

I originally had a different account linked to my Sony ID on PS3. I contacted SE support. They said if I made a new Sony ID, I could play with a new SE account on PS4. I did this. It still shows the old SE ID. I bought another copy on another account, because they insisted I bought it with the wrong one. Still doesn't work. I call Sony, they say SE has to unlink the account. I chat with SE, they say it's Sony's fault because it's the digital version of FFXIV. I chat with Sony, they say they have no control because it's SE's servers. I'm down 120 dollars on things I have no access to.

This is the number one reason why I don't think I could ever bring myself to play this game on consoles. I'm a console gamer at heart, but PSN goes down way too often for my taste (and I don't even mean the hackings). Even if the game's servers are fine, if PSN is down, you're SoL.

Either way, sorry OP. That kind of office BS is really frustrating. You would think we could somehow manage that on Mog Station or in our PSN account settings, but of course the companies won't let players do that.

That happened to me too. (Although just with the original game, so costed me 60$). Neither Sony or Square Support will do anything, and neither will refund you, you can stop bothering. Your only chance to use your previous account is to buy the game back on the same PSN account.
