What the title says. Can I farm triple triad cards using the new undersized party function? I tried soloing cutters but got no drop.

Probably, though it'd be nice to have something definitive.
The low-man party option is supposed to eliminate exp, not drops.
The mobs does not drop anything though and the card comes from killing the boss and not the chest. So it could go either way here, hence why I want an answer.
The boss certainly does - I duoed Dzamael Darkhold with my bf the day after 3.0's early access started and I got an Ahriman card at the end of it. So I'm liable to say that yes, you can get cards for soloing/duoing dungeons.
THank you!
That's just the kind of answer I was looking for.
Time to hunt some instances I guess =)
Woot, they made it so that you can enter dungeons without queuing?! As in, being able to go in to them solo? That's awesome!! if that's the case. That was one thing I felt was missing. The capability to go into older dungeons and solo them. Do you get drops like gear from the bosses an what not? How does it work? Do you just run to the entrance of the dungeon and zone into it? What about duoing one but where Im on my higher lvl character and my buddy is on his lower lvl character? Would he get any exp/loot? One of my buddies is getting into the game and that would be fun to do.
You can enter unsynched so long as you have a premade group that conists of max, one less than the required amount of players for that dungeon. 3 for 4 players, 7 for 8 etc. 24mans can't be soloed afaik.
In duty finder just click the cogwheel and tick undersized party.
Remember that it only works solo or in prenade parties.
So you still cannot go in to a dungeon solo by yourself? What the hell, that is lame they won't add that.
How were you able to go in to a dungeon with just 2 people? That is something I'm looking to do with a buddy of mine to have some fun and I heard they were adding that capability in the expansion which got me excited
Breakin' my barrs hans, breakin' my barrs
No no, they did add that ability. In the top right of the duty finder window, there is now a little settings button. Inside the settings you select that you want to use an undersized party (It has a wall of text underneath explaining that using that option means no level sync). With that option selected, you just select the dungeon you want as normal and it'll let you in.
Edit because i didn't see this question answered: AFAIK no, there isn't any exp or normal mob drops when using the undersized party option. Bosses will still drop their loot chests and cards, and quest items will still be given.
