So, who decides what a "real gamer" is? There is no true or false, definitely not.
I love playing games, but I also love to collect trophies since it's very motivating to see what you have achieved in a game (and I'm not just talking about FFXIV, I like collecting them in every game I play).

And I've been playing video games for almost 20 years now so I won't say I'm no real gamer lol

There's a limit on how many trophy points a game can award. HW counts as DLC, which does increase the limit, but not enough to give you a lot more, then SE would have a hard time deciding which achievements should award trophies.

A DLC with at least 10 trophies is the norm. SE could easily fit 15 trophies in the list. As for the length, there are plenty of DLC trophy lists that take over 100 hours to 100%. See the Uncharted series.

Just a sidenote: I disagree that trophys could/should give vanity items. What about Pc Users? We dont have these Trophys so it would be something only ps player can gain which will start a whinestorm from the pc users side.

I rather ask...what do you need a virtual dick meter for?

They never do. He was talking about in-game achievements.

Also, I see no particular difference between defeating difficult bosses and getting rare trophies. It's about the challenge, dude.

How come this thread haven't yet received a reply from the community staff or a dev? Can we please get a confirmation that SE will look into this? Trophies are important for a lot of PlayStation users. I know people that stopped supporting FF XIV when they knew that SE didn't add trophies to the expansion.

I am also disappointed by the lack of new trophies. Personally, I enjoy them a lot as they give us something to do in addition to lvling classes and obtaining better gear. I want to get trophies for all the games I love to play and I am sure that is a sentiment that is shared by many of my fellow PS gamers. They aren't difficult to add, so I am hoping we will hear something from the staff or developers soon.

They add new achievements with every update too. Might as well do trophies for it all...They should take a page out of DCUO's book.

I've already submitted my question regarding the lack of PlayStation Trophies for Heavensward on that same thread (page 9 more specifically) and would really like you guys to like it so that Yoshi-P can answer it live! The time has finally come for our voices to be heard! To me, comrades!
