Trophies

Not to hijack the thread, but what about physical manifestations of trophies in game for bigger accomplishments? Simply vanity for decoration in your home or FC room. I can see that as a happy medium if they don't give up the glam for your PSN score.

id love to see that implemented :3 like a large trophy case for certain achievements etc :3

PS4 player. Also quite disappointed by this.

I just don't understand why PSN trophies wouldn't be in the game. All they do is link them to specific achievements which are already in game. This way it just gives PS players a way of showing it to others. May also garner a bit of attention to others who may be checking out a person's trophy list if they see the game name.

The lack of trophies was a real shock to me, as I had recently obtained the platinum for final fantasy 14 on ps4 and was eagerly awaiting another batch.

Not only because I love getting trophies in games, but because I believe it did help me try things i would have done otherwise, such as fishing and leve quests for example.

+1 to this, SE where are our trophies. this expansion pack is huge and trophies are meant to be added with DLC. A prime example would be the MMO DC universe, even ESO will adding DLC trophies. I'm still playing you game because I love it but I have heard some people won't even be purchasing the game because there are no trophies.

SE for once don't be stubborn and set in your ways listen to your community, a majority of the console community loves trophies. I'll put it to you this way if you add trophies there will be no harm as it gives some people replay-ability and others that don't care will just ignore it. By not adding trophies look at the controversy you have caused. It's simple 101 business SE keep your customers happy, I expected better from Yoshi and his team!

Why would they include trophies with a expansion? Not like you'll platinum the game any time soon considering what you have to do for them

Aside of the "1000" crafting trophies, I purposely worked to get the other trophies. The in-game Achievements are nice, but working towards 1000 FATEs to get a PSN trophy is more of a goal than if it was 1000 without a trophy.

I for one am satisfied with no trophies. Trophies like craft 1000 times, do 1000 levequests, do 1000 FATEs, etc. aren't interesting in the least.

Hey, no one prevents them from making interesting trophies.

Also, trophies are used by developers to gather info on players progress. How much people did this and that, how much of the campaign they have completed on average, what difficulty is the most popular, etc.

Ya, trophies arn't for everyone, but it helps me stay focused on a game rather than just moving to another.

I feel the same. I was hoping they were going to add more trophies. Not a huge deal, but would of been nice.
