Also, all evidence still points to next week. Last thing said was end of september, also that the LFP will be right before the patch. Considering we havn't had a LFG since the first, that's pretty much due this week or next. So yea I'm betting next Tuesday or Thursday, since those are SE update days.

Like I said I wasn't rude and didn't insult anyone in anyway (like calling a person a jerk or a d$%^wad.)

If someone thought what I said was rude I would advise them not to go into any field involving customer service as they probably wouldn't last long.

Those questions I asked in the beginning of my first post were not meant to be rude. They were questions.

You can't have a test server in my opinion on a game that does not carry a subscription fee. The value of the feedback would be extremely subpar as you'd have people like Giftfhorse potentially using it as another platform to troll the game when they do not actually play/plan on playing the game after subscription fees resume.

It would just result in them taking even longer to develop content as they have to sort through all the useless feedback. A great deal of time is wasted in beta doing this, but even then you still have a screening process in place and can even kick testers out of the program. They can't do this with a product people played for simply because they are slowing down/interfering with the testing process.

and a personal attack on someone not even in this thread is definitely not trolling...but anyway a test server would be nice but i don't think it is necessary.

Do you see any information about a version update date on the front page of the lodestone? Do you see any information about a version update date on any of the recent dev trackers? Why would you think anyone else would know anything more if that information wasn't where I just said it was?

It is either coming this week (doubtful since we haven't heard anything yet), or it is coming next week which would make it by the end of September, or it is delayed til October.

As to the OP, your right man, Yoshi did mention in one of his posts the desire to get 1.19 out by the end of september, its not just conjecture or speculation on the fans part contrary to what many on here seem to think. The way he has sounded in his last few posts though makes it sound as if they are cramming to make sure it gets out by then. We have another week after this one so all we can do is wait and see.

In the Letter from the Producer X, yes, all those things were intended to be by the end of summer. But when detailing those things specific to 1.19 in Ltter XVI he said:

When I put together the list of changes for patch 1.19, it struck me as rather small (the vertical scrollbar in the spreadsheet was looong). But this is because it’s made up of major items outlined only in brief. The team’s working hell-for-leather to deliver this monster patch (did I mention that it’s a giant next to 1.18?) to you by the end of September. We’d love to be able to release the patch sooner, but all things considered, I’m afraid this is the earliest we can reasonably achieve. We promise you, though, that we’re sparing no effort to ensure that 1.19 will be worth the wait—a patch that’s ripe to burst with new content as well as refinements. I do know in past letters did say by end of summer, but at least for 1.18 typhoon roke might delay it, as for the other... Not sure what happened there. and this is prime example why yohsi dosnt really want to give dates out to patches being out in advance. Stuff happens and they get delayed, in turn ppl start getting moody.

I was hoping by 9/30 since that's the date YoshiP said in the interview that's when his (SE's) summer ends in the interview.
Maybe having some difficulty since it does seem like 1.19 is huge patch... hopefully by first week of October... before my B'day lol... I have a good reason to play FFXIV to tell my wife... ITS MY BDAY!! LET ME PLAY AT LEAST TONIGHT!!
