What are Large-Scale Leves!?

So i went through a fieldcraft large-scale leve to see what was different, and other than about double the crystals and more exp (maybe 50-75% more), i didn't see anything different.

They don't seem worth 10 leves to me, compared to running 10 single levequests for more of a reward.

Could anyone elaborate on any benefits of the large-scale compared to normal leves?

Eh, I've done some large-scale Battle levels and you have to kill more enemies and the enemies hit a little harder, but are still easily solo-able. They reward a lot more XP and I got a chest with 5 Amber and 5 X-Potions. A normal leve chest gave me a single Amber.

From what I've seen, you'll get more experience by doing 10 individual standard leves, but it is more time consuming. If you want a large chunk of XP up front with lesser time investment, you can do a large-scale leve.

What are they? Right now, a complete waste of time. You can do more standard leves in the same amount of time and earn higher exp rewards.

The only thing they are for right now are Amber pieces.

There's nothing "large-scale" about temple leves at all. You only fight 1 to 2 more enemies, they cost 10x more allowances but reward less than 1/2 the xp compared to just doing 10 normal leves. The enemies and objectives are exactly the same as in normal leves. I can't believe SE touted this as a feature.

Pretty much this. If you have time and don't mind monotonous leve grinding over and over then by all mean, please do so.

Similarly, large scale gathering leves are 50%-100% longer (more nodes to hit/ higher evaluation scores), and grant about 50% more exp for completion, but are otherwise identical to normal leves. Basically they're worth about 2 leves in exp, but only take 50% longer than a normal leve to do and cost 10x as much! Yay!...?

Thanks everyone, i figured this was the case, but i didn't know about the amber items yet (may not be high enough for that yet). To me, this means unless i need amber, it's a waste of my time and leves.
