No need to apologize. I'm frustrated too. Square thought a Cider layer would be adequate for Mac gamers. Boy were they wrong. With the Cider layer, it's as you say, it's a third class treatment. The PS and Windows versions are native. Why shouldn't the Mac version be? Because Square doesn't have programmers that know their way around OS X Cocoa and OpenGL?
We paid $60 dollars for a product and it performs less than adequate on a wide array of Macs. On the store, it says right up front, once we use the registration code, we can't get a refund. Our $60 entitles us to complain.

TLDR: so you're mad the Mac client doesn't play as well as the PC or PS one? You said yourself Mac's are bad for gaming. Why did you buy a Mac bundle?!
I am not mad about this. I just prefer to have the game on Mac OS so I can erase the Windows OS. And it appears that, according to my WoW experience on both OS, game runs more smoothly under Mac on Macbook than a bootcamped Windows. That's the reason why I was so hyped.![]()

Macs have had Bootcamp forever, I don't really know why Squenix bothered with a native Mac client.
I actually wonder how many Mac WoW players use their native Mac client instead of the Windows client.
Buys Mac.
Gets upset because it's not meant for gaming...welp...
Also, they at least gave you a Mac go.
It may or may not be as good as PS4/PC but it's something.
Take it or leave it.
