Square, what happened to having multiple airships?

There seems to be no way to assemble multiple airships. We assembled one, and now the assemble menu is gone. We have 8 parts still (and Flight Credits), and no assemble option anywhere to make a 2nd or 3rd airship. We've even waited for the airship to return, and still no menus to assemble.

When I spoke to Yoshi-P at PAX East he said we could have 4 airships max.

We just got second one built and first got done with her maiden voyage and still nothing ..... we want more ship!

Perhaps wait and see how the system actually works (ranking up etc) before you make enough parts for several ships?

Thats true. What is also missing is where to obtain certain items (such as airship repair materials)

You get more airship slots as it ranks up.

I'm kinda disappointed that it is right now basically just a retainer type mission for the top officers in your FC.

Welp, I finally went through all the dialogue choices with the mammet. It turns out he does mention that you can have more airships as you do more exploration voyages. I guess it was decently hidden but yeah, just read what the mammet says for airships. Easy to miss, but simple to point out.

On a related note, since we have enough parts of the invincible ship, can and how do we change around the parts of our existing ship? :O
