I was surprised by it too. I was expecting it to either be a T5 drop or a gold saucer purchase. It would have been kinder to the general player base to have just put it in the cash shop like they did for Slepnir. We're going to throw game time onto our daughter's and my brother's accounts to get it, but that'll still leave how to get the other mount they added. Looks like my in-laws are getting FFXIV for their birthdays.
