Steps:
Talking to Auriana and selecting Soldiery exchange (because I would like to exchange my soldiery for Poetics) and Auriana has the conversation as if you want to exchange mythology for Soldiery. At the end of the conversation when you want to confirm, the texts says: "Exchange 1,398 Allagan tomestones of Mythology for 350 Allagan tomestones of soldiery?" I currently have 1,398 soldiery and I'm not sure if it will give me poetics or just lessen the amount of soldiery I have. My apologies if this is not considered a bug.

Tashisha, I did the trade, and I can confirm that it does convert your soldiery to poetics. So go ahead with it. It is just a missed typograhical update.

I can also verify this. The trade works as it should. Only the text is wrong.
