    strange class reset???

    Hi Experts,

    I just returned to FFXIV after a long break.

    I had SMN50 and SCH50 before i went dormant..

    When i returned this week, a strange UI asked me to select character to move from 1.0 to 2.0. this is strange, as I played 2.0 to get my SMN50 and SCH50.

    I proceed to 'move the character' as I have no other choice but to proceed.

    the UI asked me to select a class. i selected arcanist.

    when i logged into the game, 1/2 my character is reset! my achievement points are 0. my arcanist is lv1. my SMN and SCH class disapeared. my listed auction items are put back into my inventory. HOWEVER, my THM40 and CNJ25 is still there.

    the game continues to educate me on newbie quests.. how to move left and right. how to hand items to NPC - even though my THM and CNJ is way leveled!

    I wish there is a way to get back my character.. please help! it was very hard for a casual player to beg so many people for help to get job quests done.. please help thanks.
