it is more like, it is your fault for not research careful before buy, they (SE) said many time that you need mac client for mac ._.
edit : and what s with the mac hate s going in here ? it is irrelevant in this topic
Any topic that involves Macs will, without fail, bring in people to White Knight and flame on both sides of "Mac vs. PC". This is an inevitable result of the fallacy that one is distinctly better than the other. It's better to simply parse these posts out as non-conducive to the topic and move on.

To be honest its kinda hilarious the amount troll found in this topic, I'd suggest to those trolls to stop speaking of stuff that you do not even understand , The only problem that you will get by playing game natively on OS X is OpenGL and in less then a year from now this will also be history, After that there is little to noting that differentiate the Windows OS from OS X in terms of graphics performance and playing the game on bootcamp or on OS X will held the same result if not better in terms of FPS (with exception of game using wrapper or any kind of emulation),
Additional when you develop a software for OS X or windows you don't go to microsoft/apple to ask for permission there are no restriction in this regard this isn't IOS or Android.

Almost no game is cross compatible with MAC. Their game library is about 5 games. Thats why no one plays mac or codes for it. Wow took 5 years 5 YEARS!!!!!(2 or 3 in reality but still) to release a mac client version. And even then it was never available same day.
In the end this has nothing to do with SE.
Hoarders gonna Horde.

Again sorry do not wish to insult you but ignorance predominate in this thread, Mac computer can run any OS using x86 instruction set ,translated for normal human begin a mac computer can run any software or operating system that a windows computer from HP or Dell can run.
PS4 FTW!!!!! Puts em all to shame. (course they won't admit it (you know who you are ))
The only one that had it right with Apple was Forrest Gump.
(sorry I just wanted to be on the troll train (bored I guess))

Seems a lot more than 5.
SE is responsible for this, this was a selling point for Heavensward.
It is pretty dumb on SEs part. I understood the double dipping on PS3/4 because of all the licensing that goes on with consoles but this is ridiculous. No excuse for this other than milking people out of more money. Making them buy two licences for windows and mac is pure greed and a big FU to customers.
Blizzard doesnt do this. I was able to install the game at the computers at work to grind a little on slow days thanks to that. Sorry to see you go OP but id probably do the same if I hated myself enough to buy any Apple products (sorry, had to).
PS Youre probably better off emulating windows. There was a thread earlier today saying the Mac client is really buggy.
