hi, so with the early acces i started play DRK, (never played tank, never)
i lvl my job etc, and when i reach lvl 50 what a big surprise to me to see that i can buy ILVL 115 stuff (full set, accs, weapon) for less than 50K...

well, im disapointed about this "politic"

first i never played tank so having directly "high" stuff is not good (atm just having Ilvl stuff is saving me from not wiping) i couldnt learn the "proper" way to play my job, this is my first complain,

second and biggest, why doing that ???
because now who gonna do turn 1 ? T2 ???
(just an exemple)

why, just why ! making older contain USELESS, with the new content ?
why not making a >> next series ??
to make people build up properly and surely

i have a friend who joined 2 weeks ago, was hard for him to even have a "training" for T1, well now its useless to try even winning this ...

I learned Drk pretty good from 30 to 50 doing dungeons and such.

and they should add a Raid Roulette for old content. ^_^

It's made for people who want to enter Havensward ASAP, so they can clear the i90 requirement of the last two story trials.

Older content would be more or less be for glamour purposes for players who have yet to grab armors from Coil. You do not need Coil to hone your skills as a tank. Any dungeons works. If SE did not include ilvl115 armors for sale for cheap, players with less than stellar ilvl would have a hard time with the mobs in HW as they will be a challenge to kill for anyone that is under ilvl100. Theres also the ilvl130 poetic gear that was available before 3.0 hits so your "unhappiness" is sorely targeted at not able to find people to do Coil with you. Kind of expected that in the new expansion everyone would be doing the new content instead of queueing for old raid dungeons don't you think?

The ARR content is now old content, and is barely relevant now.

There is no more point forcing you to grind old content so you can pass the ilvl 90 requirement and get to the new content. People will return to the old content when they want to get the glamours from it.

Tis the life of an MMO. Expansion comes out, old gear is junk. It's life. I haven't seen anything better than my i130 poetic gear yet, but I am only 55. Just enjoy the game.

FFXI had exânsion, but still dynamis, sky sea, was all usefull (until they lifted the 75 lvl cap)

Try to give it time. There are new players who will be going through that content and old ones will go back once the new stuff dies down some. Right now most people are focused on the story but they'll get done and go back to work on other classes or alts and will pick up the 2.x stuff again.
