Do Domans speak Japanese?

Sorry, if this has been asked before, but a casual search of the forums didn't turn up anything of merit, so I figured I'd ask here.

With the Raen naming conventions, and to some extent, Doman names in general, I have been wondering...

Do the Domans speak 'Japanese' (which in game would be called 'Doman')?
I guess from the NPC's they can speak our language, but back home do they only speak in Doman?

I just wanted to know for roleplay purposes.

My guess is that they do speak a form of Japanese, but not modern Japanese which is mostly based of the Tokyo dialect and wasn't really "standardized" until the 20th century. At least that is what I would guess from the naming conventions. Even today there can be a great deal of regional differences in Japanese, although when living there I mostly only really noticed it with the elderly.

No, the people of Doma speak Doman.

It's very similar to Japanese, but it is not in fact Japanese nor related to Japanese in terms of in-game lore.

They speak Doman.

Probably comments like concepts being described in Japanese terms?

For example, during the ninja storyline Oboro says, "we are called shinobi in our homeland."

So it seems safe to say that in an IU sense, Doman = Japanese, although I wonder how the Japanese client deals with this?
