    Ephemereal Nodes

[3.0] Ephemeral gathering points have been added.
Like unspoiled gathering points, these points will only appear at certain times of the day even if they appear in your gathering log. However, so long as they are active, they will not dissipate until they have been depleted.
Am I wrong in understanding that these new nodes would last until we mined them? I'm not sure what to think here, because when I find a node on Dravania/Ishgard they disappear within 1 hour only, unlike old nodes, which lasted for 3 hours. Or are these points referring to Regional Folklore?

They last till they run dry and then disappear from what I understand.

These are a different type of nodes from unspoiled. They will have '' Ephemeral'' in front of their name, and appear in the gathering log with a special icon. (a clock) Not sure if they do indeed spawn once per day but stay untill they are farmed...seems unlikely so far.

When I first came to the Churning Mist I farmed an area of nodes. But only after some hours had passed did an Ephemeral node appear. I suspect they might appear as a bonus on the usual rotation of node clearing, after a while.
