    Changes to 3.0 Tournament points



    Other than the NPCs being worth less points, what changes have others noticed now?
    Since no one really used the NPCs to exploit a top spot I really don't see how this was a needed change in the first place, unless SE just hates people trying to earn their plat-packs on Monday nights?

    speculating that you get more points when challenging players and less for repeatedly playing the same players.

    Defeating People with higher decks than you gives more points still.
    Ties are still annoying.
    Players give a lot more points.

    Well it just seems like the changes made the gap in points between the people playing NPCs and the ones win trading even larger. Seems like the changes are just going to reward the cheaters more . I still feel that since there is no random matching between players that playing NPCs should be the only option.

    Pretty much. All this did was make it harder for people to earn cards. I'm still missing Zidane and Cloud so tournaments were one of the things I would always look forward to. It's really hard to find someone willing to do tournament matches with you on my server since most people lost interest and the ones that do still play don't want to risk losing. I guess they're trying to get players to actually play the game together instead of solo farming NPCs but it just won't work realistically.

    I seriously don't understand how SE manages to make such an overall wonderful game and then gets things like Triple Triad and Chocobo Racing so horribly wrong.

    Please fix these minigames before nobody is doing them at all anymore.

    Its even worse now. Had someone from our server 1 win and 39losses and is stil on the top 20 board. This is ridicilous.

    I was happy about the way it was before because I was able to stop using friends/alts to wintrade to get my platinum packs. Now that NPCs are worth squat I'm basically back to cheating again. Real fun.

    Wow, looking at the board on my server this is seriously broken. They need to revert the points changes or at least fix them so a guy with 1 or 0 wins isn't in the top 20 with a few thousand points.
