So you decide to put your stuff up for repairs, you aren't sure what to list the repairs for?
Well here is a little guide for those of you that haven't already understood the dynamics of the repair system.
- G1 Dark Matter costs 100 gil from NPC
- G2 Dark Matter costs 600 gil from NPC
- G3 Dark Matter costs 1,500 gil from NPC
- G4 Dark Matter costs 2,800 gil from NPC
- G5 Dark Matter costs 4,500 gil from NPC
The average repair rates should be the multiple of of the grade of the Dark Matter, i.e. G1 repair, offer 1k, and for G5 at the least offer 5k. Remember the other option is paying an asston over at the repair NPC just to have it repaired to 75%. Some of you might think that 5k is to much, well look at it this way, not only are you paying to get the item repaired you are also paying the repairer the time to stop and check your bazaar, and switch to said class, then finally to repair it. You are also showing your appreciation to the repairer that they took the time to get their craft to at least rank 40, so that they can fix your broken high rank stuff.
Don't insult us by offering an extremely low repair amount. I remember the cheap-o, and I remember the people that pay market value or above market value. So if you find that your not getting your repairs as quickly as you'd like, it's probably because your reward offer is to cheap.
Also if you need repairs, when shouting that you need something repaired please shout
- Class needed for repair
- Rank needed to repair
- Your current location
- How much your offering
If you can't take the time to shout the proper information, why should I take the time to try and find you to repair something that might not even be in my repair range. Using the excuse that you're poor isn't really valid as Leves give you tons of gil.
Thank you for listening to a public service announcement, produced by a fellow crafter.
