Midgardsormrs children question... (post-HW so thread may contain spoilers)

Now we know the names of at least 5 of them. I can't recall if we ever learned more.

Tiamat (female)
Nidhogg (male)
Ratatoskr (female)
Hraesvelgr (male)

But are all of these really from Middies First Brood (implying he sired more afterwards)?

They make is sound as if he did it alone. Interestingly, though, he said he "came to this star" with the seven eggs. Is Midgardsormr... an AAAAALIIIIIEEEENNNN??? (dun dun dun!) Though seriously, I loved the dragons in this expansion. Such a wide variety in personalities, and I am excited to meet the other two kids eventually. I sat through the whole story with a pen and paper writing dragon names and then writing "dead" next to some names and then crossing it out again later. Seriously, I love these dragons.

When you start dealing with beings who've been around long enough to know to separate myth from fact and they start saying things like this, it really makes you wonder just how powerful of a being has lent you his wings. . .If there was a mother, as there may have been, it can be inferred that she has never been on Hydaelyn (the planet).

Just think. There could be a whole planet out there that has dragons. And at the same time, those pesky Allagans could have conquered it and enslaved them all... Wonder if we'll ever learn about the mom, or where Midgardsormr came from to begin with.

Actually, if you noticed, their family name has been based on Norse Mythology thus far.

Only 3 of his children have been confirmed. I doubt Bahamut and Tiamat are part of his family.
Though I could be wrong and have missed out something part of the story somewhere..

And when I first someone riding that "dragon mount" I thought it was just another dragon that SE gave for fanservice. Posted on FC chat "wow there's a dragon mount in this expac" and those who were ahead was like "OOI NO SPOILER IN FC CHAT" and I was like dafaq, it's just a dragon mount no? What spoilers?

MFW when I reached the end of MSQ. Lmao this is so called dragon mount that I thought was an ordinary dragon was Midgardsormr....

A theory on that would be that he came from where yggdrasil is, one of the first Astrolgian missions explains how one of the stars in the sky is home to the world tree yggdrasil which as we know creates life, a bit more was said about it but i forget exactly, however given the norse relation and the importance of yggdrasil in norse mythology and Midgardsormr coming from another planet, i don't think it'd be a huge stretch to say he came from there with his kin.

Also people keep speaking as though there has to be a mother, however it's also likely possible Midgardsormr is asexual as he is depicted as the original dragon.

Bahamut's been confirmed a few times as being part of the firstbrood, and the penultimate quest confirms Tiamat.

I wonder who and where the other two are. The Domans mentioned there was a land of dragons near their nation, so I guess one of the great wyrms is in Othard.

Maybe they're beyond Othard, in the Far East. Or even further, in the New World to the far west of Eorzea. At this point, the other two could be anywhere.
