    According to some other threads, DET also has an effect on your DoT ticks and your auto attacks. This is also mentioned in the 3.0 patch notes:

    "The effect of determination on auto-attacks has been reduced."

    Have to do some testing then, as I remember 2-3 articles saying that determination no longer affects auto-attack damage at all, which is why they boosted the amount of det on gear.
