That is the case with a lot of astrologians. I am use to manual healing with eos staying in c stance for extended periods of time. Going astrologian I constantly need to heal. Only enough time to apply my dots in cleric stance.

I have 3 Cross Hotbars. PS4 pics are really zoomed out or something but whatever.
This is what I have so far. I've been fiddling with them for a while but this is most comfortable for me. I'll see if things change by 60.

I'm at work so I don't have a pic but I keep similar abilities in the same spot for all my healing classes. Black Widow Ultimate and Logitech G600 really help. Its nice having more hotkeys than grains of sand on a beach.

How do you play with 3 cross hotbars if you don't mind me asking. Two seems like more then enough for me. Especially if say I was on set two and needed to go back to set 1 quickly, so having to hit R1 twice to skip over set 3. I see myself accidentally screwing up thinking I'm on set 1 and really being on set 3. lol
I finally got my pictures of my hotbars now. I have changed it a little bit since posting this thread.
Set 1(Main Healing Set):
Set 2(Offensive/Minor Healing Set):
Now NORMALLY, my sprint and Limit Break are in the exact same spot, just on set 1(as it is for every job I have). However, I figured the cards needed a whole section to itself, and are more important and use more often then those two actions, which is why I changed them to set 2.
Now for the most part, the healing actions are in the same spot, Essential Dignity can be removed from set 2 if needed for more space, and I know more abilities will be coming later. I have a spot for the Nocturnal Sect, going to put it in the same spot as the other Sect, just on set 2. Aspected Helios will be put below that just as I did with Aspected Benefic on set 1. The 4th spot near the other card options is going to be for Shuffle.
How does this look though? I can already tell just having two hotbar sets is not going to be enough. *sigh*

I don't have a print, since I'm at work, but I have 3 Xhotbars as well.
One hotbar for when my weapon is sheated, that has teleport, food, stances, mount and such things.
When I draw my weapon, it changes to the Xhotbar 2, that is healing-oriented. This Xhotbar has a macro for Cleric Stance, that activates the stance and changes hotbar to Xhotbar 3. The Hotbar 3 is attack-oriented an has a similar macro that when I deactivate Cleric stance, it goes back to the healing Xhotbar.
Additionally, the CS macro to change to attack is in the same slot as AOE damage (Assize, Miasma II) and the CS macro to change to the healing Xhotbar on the same slot as insta-heal (Lustrate, Regen, Essencial Dignity).

My brother is the same way. He only uses 2 since he mains WHM.How do you play with 3 cross hotbars if you don't mind me asking. Two seems like more then enough for me. But I'm use to it from using SCH and you basically have to have 3 crossbars if you want of your faerie spells available as well. I hardly ever mess up, I'm so use to just skipping over the third if I need to go from 2 to 1, or knowing so well what's in my third that I know to go to it for w/e. I dunno its not that bad for me. I tried two and it annoyed me for so reason lol. I like having all the open spots available for things I may want to add later.
Mine is kind of set up in a similar way with over world sets being open if weapon is sheathed, and then only my class actions sets showing up when my weapon is drawn. So, if I do have to need up using 3 sets, I should use a macro on say my Cleric Stance to switch between them? I havent actually used macros before is could be a reason why I have so many actions. One hotbar for when my weapon is sheated, that has teleport, food, stances, mount and such things.

Oh, I'll have to post my scholar/summoner hot bars. I really like how I got it to look. Though once again I run into the problem of going into 3rd hotbar territory on those when I start lvling up to 60. Though I play on ps4, I have set it up in a unique way and choose to keybind certain pet commands to my number pad and play with the keyboard that way as well as cross hotbar. Scholar/Summoner is the only class I do this for however. My brother is the same way. He only uses 2 since he mains WHM.

I'm still leveling up, but here's what I'm aiming for at level 60, put together with a bit of copy-and-paste:
The basic idea here is to make each quadrant of a similar category, and each Set 2 skill as close to its Set 1 equivalent as possible, so that it's intuitive to use them together just by changing whether you're holding one or two triggers.
From the left, Set 1 quadrants are: Card Skills, Standard Healing, Instant Skills, and Basic Damage. Set 2 quadrants are: Stances, Alternative Healing, Rare/Miscellaneous, and Alternative Damage. Heal with left, damage with right!
I tried to keep important cooldowns on Set 1, so that they can be seen easily, the exceptions being Lightspeed (which is used rarely), Essential Dignity (which is usually kept for emergencies and cools down fast), and Swiftcast (which is mostly for raising).
This definitely took some work to figure out. I hope that someone can get some ideas from this.
EDIT: Swapped Essential Dignity and Exalted Detriment for better cooldown visibility.
