Whys that too high? Better gear for new levels, and new content. You can FEEL the upgrades, which is good.

It's just a number to indicate relative power. ilvl could go by 1 per tier and could be huge step if stats granted raised wildly. On other hand, could have ilvl jumping by 100 each tier and only 1 or 2 point stat increase and would be a crawl.

I "deleveled" myself to i125 with the new gear for spiritbonding.

Until you got every i133+ pieces you need, Ironworks and Dreadwyrm are still a good filler I guess.

Usually in MMOs they will do a gear crunch every 2 years to keep bloat down. Basically they lower dungeon difficulty and lower the gear levels to match. What's i936 one day becomes i470 the next.
