    Sooo what about leveling a second class to 60?

    Since the launch of 2.0 the best way to level had always been FATEs, or dungeons which would be a bit slower, but a lot less boring. In addition to your first 50 kinda being handed to you with all of the quest rewards. Still, leveling another class wasn't too bad.

    Now in 3.0 I'm already worried. My first 60 is obviously a breeze with all of these quests, but what happens when I want to level up another? So far the only things I see giving reasonable amounts of xp are duty roulettes, but that can only be done so much in a day. After that what is there to grind that gives good xp? FATEs are absolutely horrible now and so are dungeons.

    Am I completely missing something obvious or is there no real non gated way of grinding another class up?

    ...I don't know.. I ran Aurum Vale today and came out with 150k exp gained from it.

    I'm worried about it to.
    I didn't even wanna do side quests but I need to in order to find currents and get more EXP for my main.
    FATES don't work anymore. Leves are 10 a piece to that's steep...
    FATES 14k a pop is sad, very sad. I had to literally think hard about what job I wanted to max first because of this.

    People aren't doing fates because it's not worth it right now for two reasons. First, you can get to 60 easily on one class just by finishing all the sidequests and maybe running a dungeon one or two extra times (I helped friends when they got to those dungeons so.). Second, there's so many people in those zones right now that fates get zerged, meaning they have more hp, meaning they take FOREVER. I went to a level 50 fate on the first day of EA and realised it wasn't worth standing there wailing on mobs for about 10-15 minutes for 20k exp.

    All Fates don't give only 14k I've had a that did gave 14k, and others gave 22k 23k and so i think fates would still be good just if anyone would start making or joining fate parties again even if not in the area that long. could try to invite/join a PF or something, and the exp you also depend on what level you are compared to the fate

    In my server didn't seem like anyone was farming fate... during the 22nd. I think making or joining a Fate Party is good cause a party shares mob kill exp so there is more xp then someone would get alone.

    We need a setting to auto use Aetheryte Tickets ~ An amount set by the players like set to 500 Gil if a teleport cost over that amount it will auto-use a ticket!

    When you get to 60 is there another armory bonus that gives an additional 50% to everything? Then the fates wouldn't be so bad. I am not at 60 nor are any of my friends so I can't verify if it exists.

    It does. I did some FATEs on a secondary class today after having gotten my main to 60. I'm getting 20k instead of 14k.

    They really need to boost the exp from mobs in the new dungeons. 700-3k a mob is just bad. The sheer jump in exp required for each level post 50 is very high, and that paltry exp doesn't put much of a dent in it. Exp should scale with level of the dungeon. Not stay the same :/

    They moved the dungeon exp from the trash mobs to the bosses. Overall the dungeon is still the same amount of exp.
