I'm really nervous to get mine in now. It didn't srrive yet. If it's like the others I'll just name him the 1.0 dragon. Looks nice but fundemtally broken.
So I received my collector's edition yesterday and have to agree with everyone, the dragon is crap. What made it worse was the fact that I also received my She-Hulk Marvel Bishoujo statue from Kotobukiya yesterday. Now I realize that this is an $80 figure and twice the size of the dragon but wow the quality is just so much better. I wasn't expecting a super nice figure but I was expecting a more than what I received. The art book was nice though.
I don't know what gave me the impression that the dragon would be made of a higher quality material than ATBC-PVC.
Simply put, this is the last time I purchase a CE that includes a statue - they jack up the price far too much for too little in return. I can honestly say I've received more useful content from $75 Collector Edition's that lacked an "expertly crafted figure".

Adding my name to the list. Dragon can sit with front and back legs on the pegs or you can put the tail in, but not all three. The slightest breeze will knock this thing over.

too bad i don't enderstand japanese... i wonder if they have the same issue.

Adding mine to the list. Yes, the tail sort of "clicks in", and then it can stand on its own, without any of the legs actually fitting on the stand ... but because of that I don't dare leaving it like that on any shelf, because I'm afraid the smallest movement will destabilise it and it'll plunge to its doom...... :/
Have no knowledge of action figures to be honest, but yeah this alone is quite an issue. The plastic box it came in - not at all good to have it displayed in, but that's just one thing. It's also the kind of plastic I see cheap Chinese toys packed up in. Waaaay too disappointing.

I'm joining the list as well... Art book etc was whatever shown but the dragon dolly just doesn't sit right and can't be displayed in the box it came in due to quality of plastic.Adding mine to the list. I haven't taken mine out of the box so I can't speak for the stand issue. I can say though that while I wasn't planning on it being high end, when I picked up the box with the dragon still in it and it felt like all I was lifting was the box ...? -.- < That is what I did. I expected a bit better quality than something that lightweight.
C'mon SE. If I can buy the CE of Return of The King DVD with a WETA branded Minas Tirith in it for 70$, you can do better than this for 130 US. /whispers BTW. That statue was about the same size as the dragon.![]()
