I'm sure they will get their own spinoff game. For an MMO, no. I don't want moogles. If you think Miq'ote are everywhere, it will be even worse with moogles.

I prefer having lalafell continue to be the uncontested most adorable race in the game. I don't need any floating furballs trying to outdo me. kthx.

I would probably change to a moogle if they were made a playable race but I don't see them being added unfortunately. Their size and shape would require a lot of extra work to ensure that all equipment looked correct on them and it would cause all future equipment additions to also require that further work; this is why we will only ever get humanoid playable races. The lore reasons against playable moogles don't hold so much water now though given certain recent discoveries.

i was thinking about this. moogles have played a big part of FF for many years and id like to see them as a playable race. i think it would be very cute to be a moogle and id def be one. what does everyone else think about this idea?

YES! I asked this in one of the first ARR letters (sadly I didn't get an answer, kupo).They aren't really a beast tribe and even if they were with the direction the story is going I think it'd be ok. I would even create a second character if this happened! This would also break the cycle of every playable race just being an alteration of the Hyuur in some fashion.

Moogles just spend all their time either being lost or looking for lost objects or other lost Moogles anyway.
