So a short back story, my friend and I played upon initial release. Life issues caused us to give up the game for quite a while. The heavensward expansion got us all hyped up again so we came back about a month ago.

We have some level 50s, but have only beat the story through Ultima Weapon so obviously we do not actually have access to Heavensward yet. I realize you need to beat the Steps of Faith, which requires ilvl 90 gear.

I seen that kind of gear required out dated tomes, so is there no way to actually get the required gear.. or do I have to completely bypass it and go straight to Ironworks Set? I had hoped to beat SoF and get access to new Jobs and then finish content using that job.
