W-what about light farming!?
There are no more Light Farming parties anymore ... and i dont even know the new rates per light.

The Temple Leve quest do give out a little more EXP, but it's not that much of an increaseKinda wish they did more nerfs to the books, but with the whole Under Party feature for Dungeons and FATES having shorter respawn time it does appear more bearable now. Though the Leves... still got to wait for allowances on those if you used the Temple Leves but I stopped after the first 3. There's no bloody point to them, I thought they are more challenging and gave out more EXP.
Well maps dropped to 75 poetics and chests have been dishing out 5 alexandrite. I've gone through maybe 4 ~ 6 maps (didn't keep track of numbers and fate's), and capped of a mahatma relatively fast, start to finish. That part is speed up so who knows hopefully the previous light portion had its rate speed up as well. Given the speed up and ease of farming poetics. I'd like to know what is worth using bloodsplatered logs and unmarked logs on now.
Before early access, I had 5 out of the 16 dungeon drops. Then two days into early access I decided to try it out, and got the remaining 11 in the same day. 8 of them dropped on my first run through the designated dungeons, 3 of them dropped on the second run.
It's harder to come away empty handed now. You should probably get most of your drops with only one try.
Oh and lights and resonance are doubled, but you don't get any of that from 3.0 zones except on FATEs. You can get light and resonance from FATEs in the new 50-60 zones. Not in the new dungeons nor trials.

For now. I'm holding onto my Tier IV's for a few months. I just assimilated i133 gear and got Tier III materia for it, so... prices might ascend again.
just started collecting Nexus lights and it still slow as hell.
why do I have to use an outdated and weak weapon like that for so long? nobody does ARR content anymore and HW content don't give light.
Prices are dropping only because there's nothing to use it for. Although gatherer and crafter materia most likely will climb first due to the nature of the design. Then in 3.1 when the new crafted gear and new relic quest comes out, materia prices will probably sky-rocket. I'm saving all my materia for 3.1.

I bought materia super cheap the first day of early access when prices dropped really low, and melded them onto a few of the quest reward accessories and gear that I actually used. I put some INT IV materia on my SCH's new healing accessories since there wasn't INT on them already... why not at the rock bottom prices I bought them for? And I bought a bunch of VIT IV materia for super cheap and put those on a few aiming/casting accessories that replaced some that were only i110. It will all spiritbond quicker and an extra 21 or so VIT distributed across a few otherwise empty materia sockets never hurt.Prices are dropping only because there's nothing to use it for. And from a relic perspective I bought some Spellspeed IV materia at panic sell prices that have since gone up, b/c that stat matters a lot more to Summoners now.
Does anyone have a link to the primary source that zeta will not be continued in 3.1 and will only receive a slight advantage over people who haven't done it?
Cause I don't feel like they would model a new zeta weapon just for 1 upgrade and toss it out for a whole new model.
