Dx11 vs Dx9

This is a rather strange issue. I have been running DX11 since the 19th and never had an issue logging in.

Have you emailed or tried to call SE to get assistance?

I have and tested it again and again. Waiting for a response from SE.

May need to manually add the new DX11 executable to your security rules. There are two separate files now. The older name (ffxiv.exe) is still used for launching in DX9, and the new ffxiv_dx11.exe launches in DX11.

I couldn't get mine to behave at first either. For some reason my firewall wasn't prompting me to allow it access like it normally does when a new file wants to reach out on the network.
