I only ask because since the content is gated by story and I am so far behind there was no reason to rush out and buy HW yet, not to mention my birthday is the 25 hint hint.. hoping to just get it then anyways.
Need to have the expansion installed to get experience beyond 50. I started playing again on Friday after over half a year. I was still on 2.4 of the story quests and wasn't receiving any exp until after I activated/installed the expansion.
