Ilvl90 Gear?

In Snowcloak, Temple of Quan (hard) and Sastasha (hard) you can get items with "Antique" in the name. You can trade them in Mor Dhonna for the ilevel 90 gear.

Or buy cheap crafted lv50 / ilevel 115 gear in the market board (on Ragnarok around 9k each piece in HQ).

What about common i115 gear from vendors in Ishgard? Can you use that to boost your ilevel? Someone bring it back to you or purchase over market?

I am curious about that as well, what are the limitations for someone not in HW yet. Can I buy Ishgard gear from the Market Boards?

I started story just b4 rahmu and iv actually been collecting 110 gear for two jobs. My bard for most part has a full set now. When i started i was i90 even now im i104 with a tank set of 110 also. Hope that helped, story is easiest way to get gear.

That's crafted gear so as long as you have the expack and meet the level requirement there's nothing to stop you from using the I115 gear.

The level 50 job quest (at least for white mage) now rewards you your ilvl 50 robe, and also your ilvl 90 robe. Not sure why it rewards both, probably because the ilvl 50 one is a more or less unique item that they didn't want to remove. I assume this changed with patch 3.0. I didn't complete this quest until post-3.0, and I haven't done any of the other level 50 job quests but I assume they changed their rewards as well.

You can craft augmentation for the original job gear, which can be used to get a dyeable version for glamours.
