    Will deleting square account unlink it from psn (ps4)

    I made a new account to test the demo on ps4 before i bought it and liked it enough that i bought heavensward for ps4 and as it will be delivered tomorrow id like to play on my main account. My demo account is linked to my psn and im aware that you can email support to unlink, but id like to take 'precautions' incase this takes too long. So, if i were to delete this square account, would it then be 'unlinked' automatically?

    Can you even delete an SE account? I don't think you can, only cancel services on the account (but the main account itself would still exist)

    DO NOT delete the account. That also deletes ALL DATA for the work you've already done in FFXIV. Buy game, register is on account, play. Your issue makes NO sense. Please restate it.

    It was a random account I made to test the ps4 version before I changed from pc to console in order to be sure I preferred it. With Heavensward arriving today id like to be able to play that on my actual account without needing to wait for them to unlink the test account from my psn, which seems to be a tedious process judging by previous threads. However if this is no shortcut then I guess I have no choice but to wait.

    Who is unlinking your accounts Sony or SE? I don't think it's possible.
