I had this happen a lot when on WHM stance dancing.

Yea, I've had it happen a handful of times. As long as you are withing the 10 sec cd it's easy enough to just press the button a few times to make sure the macro goes off. What sucks is when you don't catch it within the 10 sec, and pressing either one again turns the stance off and you lose stacks. Only happened a few times but that's especially annoying.
This was driving me nuts, ty so much for this. I don't understand why SE made the skills separate in the first place. Still though, this fixes the keybind problem i had.

For the issue when pressing to early I have individual icons for abilities on my Ui that I use to monitor cooldowns for abilities on 2nd tab since I play on ps4. For control mapping on this macro it would be LA(U,D,L,R).
La being left analog, U= triangle D= X L=square, etc

Would macro using Spinning Slash and following that with chotbar command be ok then since there's no skill stacking?
General rule of thumb is to not macro any skills on the GCD as you cannot queue macros one after another and you'll end up losing out of DPS this way. It's very noticeable. Most of the time I would still advise against any ability macros outside several circumstances (WAR stance macro, SCH/SMN pet macros)
Yeah since you cannot queue up macros the only thing you can really do here is mash it until the stance actually switches. If your hotbar change replaces your Deliverance macro with your defiance macro, you'll need to also put in a wait command before swapping hotbars.Yea, I've had it happen a handful of times.
