AST Attributes points

I was wondering how should i spend my attribute points. Should I put any points into Piety or just all in Mind. I played SCH before so i never really had to worry about mana, but on my AST I had mana problems pre 50 ( I just got 51) so I don't know how bad it is in other content.

I know AST has Luminiferous Aether to regen mana but it still was not enough. Any thoughts?

I'm 52 and it wasnt many times I had problems with mana. I guess we'll have to wait till 60 and see AST with all skills and proper gear.

TBH even as SCH I ran out of mana when I had to do both healer's jobs. My guess is we'll be fine with everything into Mind. The more we heal the less spells we cast.

I'm going with Mind, unless I need to invest some into Vit for the future raids. I typically get all the piety I need through gear choices, but we'll see.

If ur gonna dps as much as you would on a whm/ sch u'd probs wanna invest in some piety. I'm almost lvl 57 and have done some double mob pulls in the dungeons and damnnnn the dmg is quite a lot which forces me to switch CS off some times.
But being able to cast 3 dots + malefic 2 or gravity is pretty nice i guess.

Really? I am putting all in mnd, I rarelly have mana problems and if I do i can use an x ether and its fine, so I'm going to say put all in mnd

Always put points into Mind. Eventually the gear powercreep makes points dumped into Piety not as good of a payoff.

Preliminary checks on the stats suggest that WHM has the highest, AST second highest, and SCH last for both PIE per level and PIE per MP.

Like if you're used to playing WHM without having MP management issues, then AST should be no different.

I put 4 points into all six stat to round things off and have a little fun. Then the other 6 I put into Piety by level 50. I might do the rest into Mind or Intelligence depending on how I feel by 60 but I will wait to see what ilvl 180 gear feels like before I spend them.

Never put points into INT if you are playing a healer class, that is detrimental since Cleric Stance swaps MND and INT. Points should either go into all MND (for increased healing or damage) or split with PIE if you're finding the MP management troublesome.

Only the SMN/SCH has the INT/MND dilemma.

I'm level 54 so far up to Churning Mists in story, AND I heal and DPS, and I have never had any MP issues.
