Final Fantasy XIV Early Purchase Bundle problem

Hi,

I downloaded the free trial for the ps4 and i absolutely loved it.

So i bought the Early Purchase Bundle, this one: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-...XIVAIOEA150000

It says that i can play 2.0 but not EA for Heavensward but after i bought it and reinstalled my game completely, it still says trial?

How do i fix this?

I have tried like i said to reinstall it and i also checked mogstation and it still says trial.

Will it work automatically tomorrow?

OMG! this is the same problem exact problem I am having too. I bought the game yesterday while on trial and it still says trial for me.

Sorry to hear that dude, im trying to reinstall the game once more.

I removed the system data and such from the system storage as well as the game so hopefully that was the problem otherwise i don't know how to fix it.

Maybe we need to wait for tomorrow or for the trial period to expire? :/

That sucks because I am stuck at level 20 until then. I am currently on hold waiting to speak with an rep. I will let you know what they say.

So I just got off the phone with a rep (after waiting over an hour). He says that PSN basically screwed up the wording and (I guess) the advertising of the bundle. Apparently people that buy the bundle do not get earlier access because we are buying ONE game, not technically the base game. Our time can only start on the June 23rd and it will automatically work. The people that already own the base game will then just purchase the expansion and they get early access. It rewards them for base already being a customer.

It is bs, but at least we know it is not something I am doing wrong. The Rep said that PSN messed up and it is creating issues. They are having a lot of calls about the bundle, and other issues too because it is Monday and expansion releases tomorrow.

We just have to wait, he guaranteed to me that it will kick in automatically tomorrow as long as servers are up.

If i'm not mistaken, new accounts get a free month when initially created with the full version of the game with the sub activated, or are updated from trial to the full version, again with the monthly subscription activated. I know I did when upgrading from free trial to the paid sub (coincidentally, that free month also said trial on mogstation, but there were no restrictions, then once the first monthly payment was taken it changed).

As Cherryblossoms suggests below, you most likely need to go through the mogstation to activate your monthly subscription.

As for not being able to access HW content, the bundle was never intended to have early access for HW content. The early purchase simply refers to it being available to buy before the official release. From the 23rd, HW content will be unlocked for normal use (but the majority of it will still be locked behind the main storyline).

Have you subscribed to a monthly subscription by choosing a plan and entering in payment info? I think that might remove the trial restrictions.

where do i add a monthly sub? Because in mog station, when i check payment history its empty.

And the registration for The ps4 version should activate automaticly but with this bundle it doesnt..Especially if you has downloaded the trial version first.

After you sign into the mog station, you should see a large button that says "manage service account". Click on that, and it'll take you to a variant of the main account page, with extra buttons. From here you will have several options, the very first new button giving you the option to add or change a subscription.

It seems that the system didnt notice the purchase? Why is this so complicated! gaaah -__-

i have done like everything now, added credit card details but i cannot add a monthly fee because of what i wrote above.

This is probably an issue that wasnt tested before pushing The bundle out..It really sucks because i really enjoy The game sooo much!
