Assize. How do you eat yours?

Assize is a weird skill. It deals damage, yet heals allies. With that in mind, Cleric Stance is both beneficial and detrimental to the skill. On the one hand, using Cleric's Stance will greatly improve the damage aspect but on the other hand, the healing benefits are all but annulled by doing so.

Without Cleric's, you'll get a lovely area heal but the damage would barely scratch their armor. It's one of those skills which has dual uses, but is difficult to guage when and where it's best to use because of it's 90s cooldown.

So, how do you like to use Assize? Do you prefer it for attacking, or do you much prefer to heal as much as you can?

I haven't unlocked it yet (almost there), so I can't use first-hand judgment or experience on this one. I would think, though, it would be useful when you're in a party that needs you for full heals but also needs just a few ticks more of DPS to truly be efficient. When your party is lacking on the DPS side, every little extra bit you can get from the healer is helpful, even if it's not in Cleric's Stance. As easy as it is to switch back and forth from Cleric's, if the party is doing okay on heals, the healer shouldn't be afraid to pop Cleric's and help DPS, if the situation allows and then go back to heals as usual.
