Chatlog lag, along with 90k

Lately I've noticed my chatlog has been lagging with most forms of chat. I can type just fine, but FC/Linkshell/Tell chat from other people occasionally do not show up immediately. Rather, they get delayed, then I see everyone's chat pop up instantly. Only exemptions are system related messages, such as nearby people attaining achievements. This lag isn't constant, but frequently happening within minutes. This is usually accompanied with my Receive numbers dropping to 0, and an eventual 90002 error.

I've tried opening/forwarding ports, disabling Windows Firewall, reinstalling and going to a different datacenter. The computer is directly connected to the router via an ethernet cable. It is already frustrating to deal with trying to log on the Aether datacenter, and when I do I can only hope to play for about 10-20 minutes before experiencing this lag/disconnect.

Looking to find solutions to this if there are any. Would also like to mention I never had this issue until about 2-3 weeks ago. Up until then from launch, connection has been perfect.
