2002 Errors for hours and hours on end 3 days in a row! Inexcusable

You know I often wonder why they thought they wouldn't get a lot of players when they first made the game. Sure they probably didn't think WoW level of players but this game is part of the Final Fantasy series. That's a big name in video games. Everyone at least knows of it even if they haven't played any of the games. You hype people along and then don't deliver, of course you're gonna get pissed off players. I think that's the whole reason the game got remade into "A Realm Reborn" to begin with.

Also I think putting two high population servers on one data center was silly to begin with. From my understanding Balmung and Gilgamesh were always super populated from the start.

Its easy to just say fix your issue first , you clearly have never worked in computing a day of your life or have never cared to even know how it works before you complain.
FF14 is one of the largest actual MMO and requires a lot of work when issues like this happens . They have to find the issue before they can even think about fixing it and something it just isnt as simple as just rebooting your PC or going to the store and replacing your busted CPU fan . This is a network issue that is probably caused by the overloading of player returning to the game with the expension coming . They clearly didnt expect to have such a success .

In my experience I quit ff14 not to long after a realm reborn launched and when I heard about heavensward I got so excited that I got the preorder and came to play , imagine that im probably not the only one who got excited and hundreds of thousans had the same idea ....... I don't know any mmo who first launched or lauched very expected expention that didnt suffer from network issues . Just take world of warcraft when the latest expention came out ... they suffered from DDOS attact and had this problem for almost 2 weeks . So far since a realm reborn FF14 has only delivered quality service and has always gave compensation for time lost to their loyal players so just go play outside a little while they fix the problem and stop complaning like little bratz who didnt get their daily allowances .

that my be true. However, even before the xpac came out my server has nasty queue times. At least in my case they kinda knew its pretty packed. data server is only step one of the problem. 30min queue times is step 2 lol at least for my server ><

I got into Keeper of the Lake, my first run, and had a good group, lots and lots of fun.... then error 2002, think I'm going to go cry in the corner now

Update: Aaaand for some bizarre reason, it's showing as completed rofl how the hell did that happen?! And I got a commendation, that's hilarious!!
