2002 Errors for hours and hours on end 3 days in a row! Inexcusable

Honestly its obvious that they dont care AT ALL, this has been going on since launch of EA on Friday and has only gotten worse as the weekend has gone on. Can't wait till the 10000 newbies flood the server on Tuesday for launch, I guess ill just try playing in July

Oh then there are the 1000 topics of "this is the best launch EVER!!!!" which is flooding the boards and pushing the topics about Aether's data center being crap, out of the way

i want a months warth of free service for my trobles i preorder and i been paying off and on and i only been able to play few hours this weekend been at work all weekend played 1 2 hours before bed and i want to spend my sunday night playing ff 14 but i cant keep crashing

It would be nice if datacenter connection issues wouldn't cause the game application to crash, forcing us to login through the launcher again.

Hey gm mods could you plz tell your staff to start fixing those bugs we keep having since heavensward started plz getting either error 2002 or 5006 and its really bugging quite a LOT of people so plz fix it soon thank you

Its easy to just say fix your issue first , you clearly have never worked in computing a day of your life or have never cared to even know how it works before you complain.
FF14 is one of the largest actual MMO and requires a lot of work when issues like this happens . They have to find the issue before they can even think about fixing it and something it just isnt as simple as just rebooting your PC or going to the store and replacing your busted CPU fan . This is a network issue that is probably caused by the overloading of player returning to the game with the expension coming . They clearly didnt expect to have such a success .

In my experience I quit ff14 not to long after a realm reborn launched and when I heard about heavensward I got so excited that I got the preorder and came to play , imagine that im probably not the only one who got excited and hundreds of thousans had the same idea ....... I don't know any mmo who first launched or lauched very expected expention that didnt suffer from network issues . Just take world of warcraft when the latest expention came out ... they suffered from DDOS attact and had this problem for almost 2 weeks . So far since a realm reborn FF14 has only delivered quality service and has always gave compensation for time lost to their loyal players so just go play outside a little while they fix the problem and stop complaning like little bratz who didnt get their daily allowances .

I also get these errors. Thankfully I HAVE been able to log on and play but I agree with you all. Besides why do the active players get punished for actually playing the game while the idlers (not for few but HOURS) and gil spammers get to stay in ALL the time cause they do not log out. SE WAKE UP. START TO EXCLUDE GIL SPAMMERS FIRST!!!! THIS will lower your damn Congestion probably by atleast 30%!
