Main Scenario Quest Issue: "Breaking into Hives"

Area and coordinates: Dravania - The Dravanian Forelands > The Smoldering Wastes. (X:26, Y:33)
Steps:
1. Approach purple circle outlined for quest with party member at (X:26, Y:33) as stated above.
2. I selected the NPC that was in the middle of the purple circle as my party member began attacking the enemy spawns right away.
3. NPC disappears, but the green arrow above where NPC was located in the middle of purple circle is still there.
4. For some reason, as this green arrow is still there, I am unable to do anything. I am unable to jump, perform actions, or move. I am completely stuck. I also cannot open the game menu via the ESC key.
5. I can however, open up the regular game menus located on the bottom right hand side of the screen, move my cursor, and type in /say, /fc, /shout, /party, etc.
6. Closed game via red x at the top right hand corner (Windows) as I was unable to do so from the game - "can't log out while occupied".
