I just keep it off until bosses or when I feel there's enough enemies to justify it in dungeons. But my dark knight is a vitality build, so it doesn't really matter much if I have it off. Dark Arts > Souleater is nice, though. Out in the field, though? Just when there's something to fight. Usually don't bother with grit, then.

I don't see why people are complaining that you are requesting an option. Okay, don't remove it altogether, but you SHOULD be able to turn it off. I personally don't care about it but the people commenting and trying to argue against having it as an option? You're whining more than the OP.
That is the issue. Its such a bad effect that I feel like people are harassing me, and some people harass others because of how huge and obnoxious the effect is. If you have multiple DRKs you can drown out NPCs and quest objectives and other things with it.I don't see why people are complaining that you are requesting an option. Its way too large, that is why we don't have mounts in cities.
Its not only large... it is probably one of the worst effects I have ever seen in this game.
Yeah, I don't see why it's hurting people to just have the option to remove it. If you want it on your screen that's fine but obviously other people don't. I don't Play DRK but I imagine it would annoy me.That is the issue. It's like when SE changed the floor patterns in Shiva to help colour blind people, and people were complaining.. Just have some consideration for other people.

Bumps for getting this thing ( not even calling it an aura) changed.
I like turtles.
This screencap cannot even encapsulate how visually distracting and annoying it was seeing three DRK AFK inside the Forgotten Knight when I went to go talk to people and get my quests. The constant pulsing, flickering all over my screen while I'm trying to read. It's even worse around the market boards...
Way better example than mine. At least they're not crowding around Sidurgu?
