When those people decided to make unofficial RP and Reddit servers there were only two data centers: North America and Japan. They later split the servers into smaller server groups to help ease strain on the system. Not sure why they put Balmung and Gilgamesh in the same one when they did that, but they did.

This^, honestly at this point its obvious that they do not care, they are getting their money but hey like warcraft they will start to listen when they see those subs falling. I love how all their employees went home and called it a great weekend cause there has been nothing done to fix this or any communication on their part, and its only going to get about 10000 times worse on Tuesday when all the scrubs try to log in
