They looking angry? Good sir, did you ever watch them posing? They change from one model-pose to the next one. I could imagine them selling boxer shorts!

I just wanna say that if Lalas and Roes can share an Eternal Bond ceremony, I don't wanna hear it about Au Ra height differences XD
The Au Ra guys can actually look really...boyish when they use some of their emotes. I do agree they have chronic resting angry face most of the time. I shall join in the hug giving...provided my horns don't harm any in the process.

I don't think I look angry. Bored, maybe, but not angry.

i ask the dark knight quest giver if he needs a hug. then he gives me a look.
i swear all xaela have a massive chip on their shoulder.

It's to appeal to the crowd that sees appeal in the stern but flashy.
And I am now part of that crowd. From now on you must call me Coldsteelbloodegde Darknessshadowpants420.
Anything else and I'll only answer with a "Heh" and smirk with my eyes closed and head ever so gracefully tilted away as if to say "I'm hiding my anxieties by pretending I'm simultaneously above and deeper than you".
You just described every male anime protagonist. Congratulations! *Gives cookie*It's to appeal to the crowd that sees appeal in the stern but flashy.

I really like the Au Ra especially for their differences. The women look elegant, yet capable and the men are rugged, yet handsome. I will admit that they look kind of angry in their neutral pose though. Mind you, if I had to try and find a comfortable sleeping posture with all those horns and protrusions I think I'd be a little upset too!

Oddly, if you use the bed in your inn room as a male Au Ra, they sleep on their backs, arrow straight. Not as cute as my Miqo'te sadly. On faces, my character has moved from >:| to >:[
I'ma go punch that.
Tank and DPS
I'd prefer differences be an option and not a forced thing unless if they're going for a motif in line with their culture/environment. Like.. I wanna play a big and tough looking woman and a Xaela Au Ra which isn't something you can do at all.I really like the Au Ra especially for their differences. That's what Roes and Highlanders are around for and what makes them unique!
Yet the two aren't played as much as other races, I wonder why.
I love the races when someone makes one that isn't a carbon copy well though.
In all seriousness though in reply to the female Au Ra height, we're short but not that short.
This is me between two miqo'te of two different heights, the one to the left is in a different pose stance however we're both around the same height and I am max Au Ra female height.

Though our height vs the male height is differed greatly, I think the majority of females we have around looks freakishly small in comparison unless they are Highlander/Roe.
