Don't know what els to do besides make yet another thread to bitch about it. They obviously aren't reading the single thread, or possible even reading the forums at all. Early access has been pretty pointless so far, can't wait to go back to work tomorrow so i can come home to a down server once again.

It sure is down buddy, all you can do is try to get in repeatedly and if you are lucky you'll squeeze in.
There are too many people on this data center, and that isn't something they are going to attempt to fix. They'll just wait until half a million people give up.

I'm pretty fed up right now too.

I wonder if there's something else to this though... I know two of my friends on the same server in Aether are 60 now, and have had no problems with their early access. I wonder if this is tied into any of the stuff that went on (way) earlier when some people playing this game had awful rubber banding and lag, and others were just fine?

That only comes to mind because I had lag problems then, and log on problems now. My friends were fine then, and are fine now..... I'm not a computer person though, so dunno.

So is SE trying to beat Blizzard's WoD launch by being the worst in history? Should we even count early access?

Would be nice to even access the normal game not even the expansion areas. I mean no issues any day up til the patch on thursday. Then again it was of course next to noone playing before the expansion early access was out there. Guess we just are gonna have to wait a month and then once all those people leave we can get back to the status quo of about a hundred queues on some servers.

hopping to another data center and back seems to let you get into the character selection screen sometimes but honestly im staring at a 1k que right now unless a large number of people log off i dont see myself playing tonight

What's more frustrating is some players can do the whole DNSflush trick and switching data centers to get in. For others no such luck. Then there's the infinite queue line. It all adds up to a frustrating experience which is only added to because SE remains quiet.

Yeah Its been like this off and on but the best thing that can be done is keep trying or maybe even creating a secondary character to work with till the condition improves.

It settles down later in the night but in some cases maybe a additional server might not be a bade idea.

I did mention this on another thread and they are reading them I am sure but think about how many threads have been made on this.

In fact that pointed it out at the top of the forum page for Technical support and even mentioned it in their status tab on Lobestone.

Sadly everything has its limitations it can handle :<

Think of what would have happened if Early Access didn't come out? If everyone had started at the same time and those that didn't have EA flooded in as well? Personally thats still a possibility considering the full launch in 2 days.
