so i see a bunch of people at 60 already. got some questions

for WAR, how is WAR dps mode? is it actually possible to outdps a decent dps with it?

for DRG, i read some post on reddit about how the skill at 58 and 60 are actually exactly the same and could lower dps. is it true?

for AST, mp consumption wise, where does ast stand? can i spam stuff like sch or more conservative like whm?

Well idk about the other 2 but for DRG it's the skills at level 56 and 58 that are pretty much the same. Wheeling thrust and fang and claw. The only difference is the positionals. One is from behind and the other is from the flank. They are both 290 potency or if you miss the positional then 100 potency. And the worst part is they are random as to which one will proc after the 3rd skill in a combo under blood of the dragon. So you never know which one will be available so you never know where you will need to be positioned for the 4th skill in the combo. So if you miss it then it's only a 100 potency attack.

WAT. That's a downer. Gonna affect people playing with higher latency alot, considering the glow procs come out later so they have less time to react within glow start > gcd queue window.

However long your gcd is. Normal is 2.5 seconds but with skill speed it will be less. Like 2. 3 to 2.4 seconds. You'll see which one procced right after using chaos thrust or full thrust in your combo. The problem comes in with most drg are used to using jump after chaos thrust in their opening rotation. Can't do that now because jumps animation will lock you in place when you need to be moving into position for either wheeling thrust or fang and claw. It's going to take some getting used to.

edit. The skill itself stays up for 10 seconds once procced as long as you don't use another skill before. But obviously if its taking longer than your gcd to use it to get in position you may as well not even bother using it because of the dps loss.

Not 60 yet, but WAR dps stance is awesome.
At level 54, using the "2.55 BiS" (Dreadwyrm/ironworks left side gear, Zeta weapon, and lv110 HQ VIT/STR penta melded accessories), right after learning Fell Cleave from quest, I saw a Marberry (old A rank hunt).
Decided to go try Fell Cleave.
After being fully buffed (Maim, Storm's eye on mob, Berserk, Internal Release, Deliverance), i hit it crit for 3400.
That is insane for a tank imo.
At that time, the non-crit was hitting for like 1700-2000 iirc

From what I have seen with my friend the new WAR stance is pretty good. He has been criting over 3K and more with my Battle Litany on. As for the goon 58 and 60 skills its a disappointment. From what I have been reading at E3 these skills were not random procs. If they weren't goons would be pretty sweet with the new moves. Most people are already saying they are actually losing dps.
