Thread: my dx11 card and system not recognised by 3.0 update

I launch game, try to select "DX 11" from settings but its greyed out.
I have just updated Drivers (automatically,with Nivdia)
Heres my sys info.
Hope someone knows whats wrong, i cant play with graphic images as they are now, they are too much of a physical strain on the eyes.

O.S. Win7 (32bit)
CPU: quad core (2.9ghz per core)
GFX: Nvidia GTX 460 1mb
Memory: 4gb

Dxdiag: DX11, No errors.

I'm pretty sure you need 64bit windows.

well i have my original win7 disks with 32 and 64 bit versions.
If i try to install win64bit will i lose the system settings files, or is there an overwrite option, if i have to reinstall everything on my 3 drives, well i cant, id be out of a job.

You should be able to upgrade in-place. I've never tried it (Anyone who has built a gaming PC since January 2007 should have bought and installed the 64-bit version of Windows.)
