    the only real difference is you have les time on node to gather but since it only ever took 30secs anyway I don't see a problem.
    The old gathering was just some quick buffs and then gather. The current collectible rotations take a bit more time due to the animation times of each action. On top of that it asks for your confirmation each time you collect.


    Nodes being twice per hour now is a fallacy I have seen used a few times now. Altho nodes do appear twice per hour, they also give less then ARR 1* nodes. 15 Max vs 25 max. So if you collect only 1 node per hour you will harvest about 40% less then you would from an ARR 1* node.

    Another thing is that spawning twice per hour while still giving roughly the same amount of items mean you will spend a lot more time to actually gather the same amount of items.
    In addition to also decreasing the amount of other items you can harvest due to:
    a) overlapping node spawntimes.
    b) losing a lot of time each harvest due to huge travelling time. (many of the best nodes are on the other side of the zone)



    Gathering took some pretty harsh nerfs in HW:
    -Same amount of items harvested, but requiring you to harvest twice instead of just once.
    -Nodes only up for 50~ EZ minutes.
    -Nearly all nodes/items spawn at the same times, meaning you can only harvest about 2~ per EZ hour. (4 if you choose to harvest only half the normal amount)
    -Long travel time, which combined with twice the spawn times also means more time spend per full harvest (2x per EZ).
    -Collectible items after the first requiring harsh perception amounts, making them pointless (as you cant obtain them without heavy melding)
    -Many base raw materials behind gated behind ''hidden'', effectively reducing the gathering rate of those items to about 35-40% of other items.


    I'm not sure what the point behind all the limitations are.


    Fun note:
    -Flying to either of the Hinterlands nodes, or the Sea of Clouds takes more time then the node will be up for.
