The Cymbrogi: Social company looking for new friends to join our ranks.

Fellow Excalibur players - The Cymbrogi is a small but active company that is looking for like minded players to share their in-game adventures with. Our goal in recruiting is primarily to just get to know new friends and actively continue to breathe more life into this long existing community. With the expansion just hitting, we figured this was a great chance to do that.

Our group’s primary purpose is to serve as a home for people while they experience the game. We want to be a safe place for people to socialize and enjoy content together. The core of our group does enjoy tackling end game challenges together, but not at the cost of a healthy and pressure free environment. If members do wish to pursue things more aggressively than the Cymbrogi approach things, we have no problem with them participating in static groups outside of the company. So yes, primarily we are a social company, but one that enjoys doing all types of content together.

Our members are all adults, many with children and active lives outside of the game. That’s not to say that we don’t take our game time seriously, but we understand that all of our members have priorities other than any in game goals. The kind of people we try and have a part of our company are people that are fun loving but patient - put others before themselves and actively contribute to a community… whether that is just through having good banter while crafting away or jumping into dungeon runs with fellow Cymbrogi.

We have a medium size home we share in Lavender Beds zone 5 - garden plots, stables, some crafting facilities and the new addition of the basement workshop.
We are primarily an east coast group - though have some great West Coast friends as well. So most activity during the week will be in the evenings starting around 6pm EST. When we have planned events they usually start around 8pm EST. We have a dedicated Mumble server through guild work. While we will never require Mumble, we suggest using it to enhance your experience in the Free Company and Eorzea. It also does make communicating for some of the harder raids a lot easier.
