4+ perma bans from the forums tells a different story. Even more humorous to me is the fact that you think I'm just talking about you. It may seem that way, but you're just the absolute best, textbook example of the behavior in question. The irony of 'not playing the victim' is delicious.^
Wow. Do some people even hear themselves speak? Lol.
I'm not trying to play the victim here, by the way (because I honestly don't value any of your opinion's enough to even start to get offended by them) but surely it's everyone else who has been attacking ME, rather than the other way around. I don't resort to ad hominem attacks to win arguments, nor appeal to my prestige to add weight to my points (unlike the alleged "statistics major" earlier).
^It's posts like this that make games die faster. The more people leave, the more you can expect this game to die faster than it really is..... I thought you guys wanted more players to.. I dunno save the game and bring in profit to keep things alive? (Besides it's those negative players SE wants to pull in again, not the ones already happy and have confirmed that they'd pay for the game in it's current state)[Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XIV FORUM Guidelines.]
oh well, good job encouraging potential players to join the game.

Exactly!.... as I said before the players that stayed wont leave even if SE charged 50 bucks a month and added azaroth to the game.^It's posts like this that make games die faster. The current fanbase is not enough to make this game a success, they want more fans and returning players to jump back on board, dont full yourselfs the ultimate goal for them is cash, more subcribers= more cash.
So if only listening to the opinions of the players that currently play now is SE's plan, how do they expect to bring in new or bring back old fans?
That would just be bad buisness and a waste of time and money for SE, please tell me you guys are not soo narrow minded that you cant see that.
So continue to tell ppl to go away, thats a great way to help a game that needs as many ppl playing as they can to stay afloat, right?

Can't we just live in peace together guys?
We all have one goal and that is we want FFXIV to improve

Ya its sad really...the community here does not do the dev team any favors at all by trying to get more people of the already dead pop to leave. This has been the one thing that's annoyed me since day one. I remember back before the 30 day post rule the boards were filled with far more constructive discussions. Now there's a few here and there but its mostly just whiteknighting now with the current players telling those with points of opposition to gtfo and go back to wow. I'm going to just continue to do my part and get my friends to hop on after every patch and try to bring them back. Everyone else should also work more on bringing people back instead of driving them away.
Wow I though the survey gave the game a c at first glance. On a 10 point scale the game still scores an F (for answers "neutral I count the answer as half points because technically neutral could go either good or bad).
I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

Dont get me wrong I dont completely hate FFXIV, I'm coming from a FFXI fans perspective, not WoW(hate WoW), I hate the fact that this game even uses WoWs terminologies never thought I see "Raids" in FF.
My feelings come from frustration because I want XIV to be good and fun and I wanna log in and see a game world full of life and I know that this title has the potential, but the focus of each update seems to get further and further of course of tackling the most pressing Issues.
I came in like most thinking this game would be the predecessor to the awesome FFXI not eactly like it but simular and better but to this point it seems to be aiming to be like a more western style mmo like WoW and man to me that blows hard!
Personally, I'd be embarrassed to recommend the game to someone. It's still "undercooked." I'm sticking around because it has potential, and I think Yoshida is doing a good job. And it's free. But it has miles to go before it reaches prime time. I think most people would agree on that (judging from the last question on the poll).Ya its sad really...the community here does not do the dev team any favors at all by trying to get more people of the already dead pop to leave.
